Lisette is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Simon Van Weereld. His musical story began in 2020 with the release of his debut EP The Week 2 on Turnhout-based Gazer Tapes. After that, things went quiet. Five years and the birth of his first child later, Lisette is back. The playful indie rock of earlier days has made way for a more intimate yet expansive sound, clearly heard on his brand-new single “More Than Enough.” This is the second single from his debut album, set for release in 2026 on On The Level. For this record, he collaborated with producer Felix Machtelinckx, frontman of the Antwerp band Tin Fingers. With a captivating live performance and powerful songs, he transforms every stage into a darkened bar. Expect a touch of mysticism, a hint of nostalgia, and a generous dose of comfort.
