Peuk runs the gamut from razor sharp alternative punk to soothing yet disturbing lullabies. Short bursts, sprawling melodies, whatever it is, it hits you where it matters. “Peuk” is Dutch for fag end, but this Belgian trio is anything but a throwaway. Inspired by the likes of Hole, Pixies, Sonic Youth, The Breeders etc. but still very much their own addictive, nicotine infested Peuk.
